Well I’ve been missing for a long time. My son Matthew had a problem with his shunt when we were in Florida and needed surgery which was quite traumatic but all is well now.
Most of my time has been taken up with getting the house ready to sell, what an ordeal moving is, I don’t suppose having such a collection of art materials doesn’t help. So now is the time to have a clear out and clearing out is exactly what I’m doing,it’s taking forever, I’ve sent tons of stuff to charity. I can’t believe I have so much, lots of it was from teaching as I used to take stuff for students and a lot of them very kindly bought me things. ¬† I’ve decided to sell a sewing machine it’s a Bernina¬† virtuosa 155¬† with lots of attachments, had a service 6 months ago and sews great¬† $1000, well loved ! Also a seven needle felting machine $200, only because I bought a more updated machine. Photos enclosed. If you are interested just let me know.
As I was doing the big clear out I came across a lot of tiny pieces of work that were left overs from much larger projects you know you can’t bear to throw them away so I’ve decided to put a lot of them into building up a big piece almost like doing a jigsaw if you know what I mean ! I then went on to stitching them¬† onto squares of linen ( tea towels ) then made them into cubes, quite like this idea.
Did I mention we are proud owners of two beautiful Golden Retriever puppies now fourteen weeks old, Skye and Rosie. They keep us very busy !!!!
